eTwinning Project by 8ºG

eTwinning Project

Projects

Nourish and Flourish: a path to better dietary habits

Class 7ºF, led by the teacher Maria Lurdes Loureiro, is proudly collaborating on the eTwinning project "Nourish and Flourish: a path to better dietary habits" alongside with the following European countries: Turkey, Greece, Romania, France, Italy, Poland, Spain, Lithuania, Hungary, Croatia and two Portuguese Schools.

The project aims to foster healthy dietary habits and combat obesity among children aged 8 to 14 by implementing engaging educational initiatives aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and WHO. The primary objectives include increasing awareness of nutrition, encouraging informed food choices, and promoting physical activity. Through a series of interactive activities—such as cooking workshops, nutrition tracking using digital tools, and collaborative school projects— students will actively participate in learning about healthy eating and the risks associated with obesity. The initiative also seeks to strengthen partnerships among schools, families, and local communities to create a supportive environment for healthy lifestyle choices. Ultimately, the project aspires to empower children to embrace long-term well-being through sustainable dietary practices, positively impacting their health and future.

Take a look at the activities we have been developing so far! They are amazing!

Assim, no âmbito do TED "Fellows", a referida docente envolveu a turma 8ºE com o projeto "Teaching with Films".

26th April 2023

Under the Project "Internationalisation of Teaching &Training in AEAnadia - Job Shadowing for teachers - classes 10A and 10C with their teachers Alexandra Alvim and Manuela Santos, shared a dynamic lesson with a guest teacher from Spain, Adrián Vigil.

Playing an envelope game with six different tasks, they presented their group assignments on several issues related to the topic: "Languages: a door to the world!"

They addressed some engaging and thought-provoking questions to our guest teacher and took great interest in his eye-opening answers, as someone with a large experience in travelling the world, learning English as a foreign language and stressing the motto : "learning languages is a key that helps us open many doors"

A very enriching outdoor lesson, indeed!
